Accessibility

Accessibility is a web page’s characteristic that allows access to it by people who have a disability, impediment or limitation. Web accessibility is regulated by W3C’s Accessibility Initiative (WAI), whereby three different levels are established. More information is available in W3C Web Accessibility, and standard ISO 40500: 2012 W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 .

In Mercadona, we are firmly committed towards facilitating accessibility to our clients, regardless of their physical or intellectual condition, their age or need for the use of adapted technologies to access our web page. To this end, we have developed this web page using standard technologies established by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), in keeping with the WAI2.0 Accessibility Guidelines, level AA.

The following diploma hereby certifies the effort we have made, together with external companies, in aid of introducing continuous improvements where accessibility to our web site is concerned.
