All products of animal origin that Mercadona offers come from approved suppliers, which are audited both by the company and by the Healthcare Authorities, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
Between February and April 2019, the definitive withdrawal of the current plastic bags and their replacement by recyclable, reusable, and recycled bags will be implemented in all stores, thus completing a process that started in 66 stores in 2018.
